Position: Running Backs

Coach Hartline was the head coach of the freshman team for three years (07’ – 09’), and is now taking on varsity RB position coach responsibility.  He previously coached youth football for five years (Issaquah, Bothell, and Inglemoor).  Coach Hartline played football for Bothell High School – yes district rivals.  He and his wife Myrna Luna have one son Evan.

Coaches Comments: Coaching (teaching) is a passion of mine that I would hope to do for a very long time.  It’s really an honor to be able to work with high school kids in this capacity and especially in this community.

Position: Receivers

Coach Lawson has been coaching football at IHS for 4 years.  He was a 2 year varsity player, nominated for 2nd team all KingCo as a receiver and punter.  Coach Lawson was involved with the 5-Star organization for 3 years and Issaquah Youth football for 5 years.  He and his wife Robin have one son Trevor and another child due in March of 2010.

Coach Vanneman is an Issaquah High School grad of 2001 - mascot back then was an Indian.  He was starting power forward for the basketball team, played Offensive/Defensive Line for the football team. He then went on to play football at the University of Washington {2001-2006} and was a 3 year starter at Guard and Center and majored in History. He has coached at Issaquah for
four years. The first year he was the Defensive Line coach and the last three spent with the Offensive Line.   Coach Vanneman played in a Football All-Star game in Osaka Japan in 2006. His brother Brian Brady former IHS receiver and shooting guard is currently a receiver at Whitworth College in Spokane.  His sister Blaire Brady, currently is a student at IHS and starting point guard for the girls basketball team.

Coach Comment: It is a pleasure to coach kids with such high character and work ethic.  I truly enjoy giving back to this community
and being a positive part of our player’s high school athletic experience.
